Installation and Fitting
Curtain installation tracks, poles and fitting across Dubai
Fitting is where a curtain is won or lost. The same fabric, the same fullness and the same lining can look expensive or look wrong depending on how the track was fixed and how the folds were dressed on the day. Our own team installs what we make. That matters because the person on the ladder knows the weight of the curtain, how deep it will stack and where it needs to land, instead of discovering it on site. What installation actually involves. The track is fixed at or near the ceiling wherever the ceiling allows, not above the window frame, because that is what makes a room read as tall. Fixing has to go into something solid: a plasterboard ceiling needs the joists found or a batten installed, and a four-metre lined curtain is heavy enough that getting this wrong shows up months later rather than on the day. Double tracks are set so the sheer and the lined curtain clear each other. Motorised tracks are levelled, the limits are programmed, and we show you how to use it rather than leaving a manual. Then the folds are dressed, tied and left to set, which is the step most often skipped and the reason some curtains never hang properly. Awkward situations we handle regularly: double-height and stairwell glazing, curved and bay windows, concrete ceilings, villas where the curtain pocket was never coordinated with the ceiling contractor, and apartments where the landlord restricts what can be drilled. Tell us early and we will find the fixing that works. We also re-fit curtains you already own. If a curtain was made elsewhere and hangs badly, the problem is usually the track height, the fixing or the dressing rather than the curtain, and all three can be put right.

Our Promise
Crafted with Intention,
Designed for Legacy.
-
Fixed into something solid
Joists found or a batten installed where the ceiling needs it. A heavy lined curtain on a bad fixing fails months later, not on the day.
-
Levelled, not eyeballed
Tracks are levelled across the full run, which matters most on the long elevations where a slow drift is visible.
-
Dressed before we leave
Folds are set and tied so the curtain hangs correctly from day one. It is the step most often skipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you install curtains you did not make?
Yes. If a curtain hangs badly the cause is usually the track height, the fixing or the dressing rather than the curtain itself, and all three can be corrected.
How high should a curtain track be fixed?
At or near the ceiling wherever the ceiling allows, rather than just above the window frame. A curtain that starts at the ceiling makes the room read as taller; one that starts at the frame cuts the wall in half.
Can you fix a track to a plasterboard ceiling?
Yes, but the joists have to be found or a batten installed first. A heavy lined curtain on a plasterboard fixing alone will pull out eventually.
Can you handle double-height or stairwell windows?
Yes, and these are usually best motorised because nothing else is safe to reach. Tell us early so the track and any power can be coordinated before the ceiling closes.
What about curved or bay windows?
Bendable track handles most curves. The heading matters here: wave and S-fold travel around a curve more neatly than a structured pinch pleat.
I rent my apartment and cannot drill much. What are the options?
There is usually a way, including tension systems and fixing into the existing window frame rather than the wall. Show us the window and we will tell you what is possible before anything is ordered.
What is dressing, and why does it matter?
After hanging, the folds are arranged by hand, tied and left to set so the fabric learns the shape. Skip it and the curtain hangs unevenly for months, which is why some new curtains never look right.
