A ready-made curtain is built to a standard size and hopes your window agrees. It rarely does: the drop is wrong, so the fabric pools on the floor or stops short of it, and the width is wrong, so the curtain sits over the glass when open and steals your light. Custom means the opposite order. We measure your window, then make the curtain. Everything is cut, sewn, lined and finished in our own Al Khawaneej workshop, which is why a deeper heading, a different lining or a four-centimetre change to a drop takes days rather than a three-week round trip to a factory somewhere else. Choose the heading (wave and S-fold, pinch pleat, pencil pleat, goblet pleat, eyelet or rod pocket), the lining (unlined, standard, dimout, blackout or thermal) and the track (ceiling-recessed, surface, pole, double track for sheer plus blackout, manual or motorised). In Dubai the lining matters more than people expect: it protects the face fabric from the sun and keeps the room usable in the afternoon. We bring fabric samples to your home rather than asking you to judge colour under showroom lighting, and the consultation, site visit and measurement are free.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take from measurement to installation?
It depends on the fabric and the size of the order. We give you a date in writing with the quotation rather than a general range, and we tell you at the measurement stage if a fabric has a longer lead time.
Do you charge for the site visit and measurement?
No. The consultation, the site visit and the measurement are free, and there is no obligation to order afterwards.
Can you make curtains for a window I have already measured?
We would rather measure it ourselves. The two measurements people most often get wrong are the track width, which should extend past the glass rather than match it, and the drop, which runs from the track rather than from the top of the frame. Both are expensive to get wrong once the fabric is cut.
Do you supply motorised curtains?
Yes, with a remote, a wall switch, an app or integration with a smart home system. It is easiest to plan during a renovation when the power can be run before the walls are closed, but battery-operated tracks exist for finished rooms.
Can you match curtains to a sofa you are also making?
Yes, and this is one of the advantages of a workshop that does both. We can put the upholstery fabric and the curtain fabric side by side before anything is cut.
Do you work on hotel and office projects?
Yes. We supply inherently flame-retardant fabrics with certification, blackout-lined curtains and motorised tracks for hospitality and commercial fit-outs across the UAE.
What about Arabic majlis curtains?
Majlis rooms are one of the things we do most. They usually need taller, heavier treatments with structured headings, and we make majlis seating as well, so the two can be designed together.
