A majlis has to seat a full gathering, follow the walls of the room and stay comfortable for hours, so standard sofa sizes rarely work. We build majlis seating to your room: continuous wall-to-wall benches, corner returns, floor-level seating with firm back cushions, and matching footstools and side tables. Frames are made in our Al Khawaneej factory, upholstered in your fabric, then delivered and installed by our own team.

We plan the seating around your walls, windows and majlis door, so the run is continuous and the corners return correctly with no awkward gaps at the ends.

Firm Where It Counts
Majlis seating is sat on for hours, so we use a firmer foam and a denser back cushion than a living-room sofa, and the covers can be made removable.

Frames, upholstery and installation are handled from Al Khawaneej 2, Dubai, so long wall units arrive in the right sections and fit through the door.

Can you build a majlis to follow the walls of my room?
Yes, and that is the normal way we build it: a continuous run along the wall with the corners returned, set out from a site measurement so there are no gaps at the ends.
Do you make floor-level Arabic majlis seating?
Yes, floor-level seating with firm back cushions and bolsters, as well as raised bench seating. Both can be made with removable covers.
Which fabrics work best for a majlis?
A tight, hard-wearing weave or a velvet with a high rub count. We hold over 200 fabrics and will point out which ones clean well when a majlis is used often.
Can you match an existing majlis?
Send photos and the measurements of what you have. We can match the height, fabric and detailing closely, or rebuild the whole run to the same design.
Do you deliver and install in the majlis room?
Yes. Long units are built in sections sized to fit through your doors, then joined and levelled in the room by our own team.
